It's time to change the diff. lube in my FJR and I hate paying the Dealer price for parts. What have riders used and what are the specs for the factory lubricant. I'm a GM car mechanic and have GM synthetic 75-90 diff lube in the garage, thought about trying that. I've seen info on this previously but can't seem to find it now, sorry for the repeat.

 
You might want to check the Bin-O Facts thread under the FAQ's section (before too many darts come your way). I went with Mobil 1.

 
Valvoline Syntec 80-90W is doing great in my FJR. Smooth and quiet. I put that in at 618 miles. I use that in most of my vehicles. Haven't been disappointed yet.

 
It's probably too late but the GM synthetic will be fine. I would use it if I had it laying around.
