Didn't know whether to post this on Ride Reports or here and I decided WTF. Why not here. Enjoy!

I've been on vacation for the past week and did some riding with my son around Baltic Ridge. Access is off of Mormon Emigrant Trail Rd, via Sly Park Rd, via. Hwy 50 from Sacramento. Did some camping and some great dirt riding.

Here's the lineup:

The little blue bike on the left is a Yamaha TTR125, all the mods for an adult rider. Great fun for a beginner. Unless you're 6'4" like my sons buddy who rode it. I never seen legs flail like that ever! The middle one is a Kawasaki KLX300 w/all the mods. Last is my Yamaha WR426 and yes, all the mods! :good:

Here's the campsite:

This little water hole was on the other side of the trees on the right side of the campsite but I couldn't get a shot of it all together. Just thought I'd throw that in there. What was it? 110 degrees in Sacramento? :fire:

Here's me and my bad *** 426 :eek:neeyedsmiley02:

E-H,

Looks like your havin' one hell of a time! Looks like a great riding area......more pics a must!

Gonna have to dig my 426 out of the garage. I think it's been a good 9 months since it's been flogged!

The only mod that I see that you havn't done is put a smaller YZF tank on. I put a Clark tank and SDG seat on and it made a world of differance as you can get more forward for better handling. Done most of all the cheap mods as per the Thumpertalk web site as well as suspension and triple-clamp and bars.

Have fun and post more pics!

Cheers,

Bryce
