Disk Brake Lock

I've got the yellow one - WAY more conspicuous than the steel colored one against the brake disc. You want the would-be thief to move onto the next bike, so more conspicuous = better. It works really well, especially in an enclosed space like a garage or parking garage - loud and obnoxious as hell. It definitely gets attention even in wide open parking lots.

Make sure the pin diameter is correct or else it wont fit through one of the holes in your disk. It doesnt have to be a tight fit even if it's hanging loose the alarm will go off when it's moved, but I think you have to have the metal brake disc in the lock's "slot" for it to work.

Don't forget to remove it before trying to move your bike - I've heard horror stories

I got the 14 mm pin since I was using it on an '08 CBR600RR as well.

I've got an older yellow Xena (XM14) that works well. Makes a lot of noise, so with the bike relatively close you're going to hear it.

Have fun on the trip!
