Does a flip face mic/headset work on a full face helmet?

Well, I have a full face helmet. But I'm thinking about getting a mic/earpiece set from J&M designed for the flip face helmet. It'll have a small boom and the wind sock I'm sure. The reason is because my current helmet is probably going to be replaced in a year or two, and I intend on moving to a flip face helmet at that time. So I want to know if I can buy the flip face helmet setup now, and just transfer it over. For what it's worth, I have an HJC helmet right now.

I see no reason why it wouldn't work. You may have some installation issues, but persistance and inginuity can solve that I'm sure. The only hassel is you have to adjust the mic each time you put the helmet on. Then again, I have to do that with my flip up too.

I've used the boom mic from my Autocomm with both full face and flip up helmets, and there was no real operational difference.
