With Christmas almost on us, I would like to share with you all, an experience that I had a couple of days ago.

A lot of us have an occasional brush with the authorities, often after a social outing with friends or family. A couple of nights ago, I was out with a few friends, had quite a few beers and then a couple of bottles of a very good red wine and a few vodka shots and finished the night off with a really good napoleon brandy.

I felt really good but realised that I might be slightly over the limit, so I did something that I have never done before and took a taxi home.

Sure enough, on the way home there was a police roadblock, and being a taxi it was waved straight through and I arrived home safe and sound. This really surprised me, because I had never driven a taxi before and can't for the life of me remember where I got it from. It is in my garage and I don't know what to do with it, if anyone wants to borrow it, just give me a call.

Merry Christmas and stay safe.

Put the taxi out on the street and then call the police and complain about an abandoned vehicle.

Remember, a designated driver, no matter how intoxified they are is your best friend. After all, a good friend will take one for their buds. And, after reading the police report, a good friend might bail them out. :)

Good one Snudge...

That was hilarious! I've called a taxi one or twice but, it was on four wheels at a Chilis' restaurant. Gotta take it easy on those all day two for ones. They'll kick like a mule! Merry Christmas to one and all... :)
