I own a program called "Driver's Log" that was created by a fellow Gold Winger. Its agreat program to keep trackmof everything on a Goldwing or car, even has the maintanance items and mileage. I talked to the creator and asked how to input the FJR maintanance schedule and he told me it is something he wouold have to do, the good news is, I found a link that lists all the FJR maintanance items and intervals and he is going to get it all set up for the FJR. Check the program out, I really like it and use it for all my vehicles. Driver's Log web site

I am not in any way connected with this product, just a happy user of the software and thought you all may like it too. Rick m

Microsoft has a few free downloads for Excel templates for vehicle log tracking....Not quite as fancy but they are free.

I may be wrong, but I think you can download the Driver's log software and use it for free, some of it is disabled until you pay for it, but even the free part is pretty nice.

anyone have a scan of the maintanance schedule from the owners manual? I'd like to send it to the Driver's log guy. (I don't have a flat bed scanner)

Thanks, Rick

Has it come to the point that even our log books must be software driven? The owners manual that came with my FJR provides all the required maintenance info. All I do is fill in the date and what was done. It even has several blank pages in the back to keep any info I wish. And best of all, I don't have to remember a user name or a password, and Bill Gates is not involved. :yahoo:

Well Dave, to each his own. If it was not for computers, we would not be having this dialog at all, but thankfully we are. I see your point and I respect it. But for me, a software program that keeps track of all my vehicles is a real time saver and it works for me. I work with computers, and ya gotta love 'em.......... and ya also gotta hate 'em....... but they are not going to go away any time soon :dribble: :haha: :erm: ;)

I use a Palm OS based freeware from www.zizzagsoftware.com called ZMoto. If you use a Palm based device it is quite handy and very well done for freeware.

Just a heads up to those why have tinkered with the FJR Maintenance Spreadsheet on Bikes-N-Spikes. Version 1.04 has addressed the "changing interval" errors that were there in earlier versions. You know, the items that need to be checked at 600 miles initially, but only every 3000 miles afterwards (or whatever the routine interval becomes).
