Hi Friends!

In March I will be traveling with my lovely wife from Denver to Salt Lake City (Park City) in the Subaru Outback. I have driven the I-70 Colorado span and the I-25 stretch through WY so I know the terrain for both. Google maps is saying it would be faster to go through WY on I-80 but I'd rather be tormented by having to watch episodes of The View than seeing bare nothingness mile after endless mile.

What is the leo environment like in WY? When speed limits are 75, like in WY, I am prone to do 80-85. I have been reading how the WY leos light-up drivers who are 2-3 miles over. I do have the awesome V1 detector. Is WY using laser?

We are going to skiing there as a break away from CO skiing - yeah, we know we are fortunate to have Vail, Breck, and the others just down the road as the nazgul flies.

I think you'll prolly see some LEO activity and you should adjust your speed to what you think is reasonable...or the amount you're willing to pay if you get popped.

+1 As Clint would say "do you feel lucky punk?"

I rode across Wy both ways last fall but was off the interstate and farther north. Saw very few LEO's and kept the speed 5-7 over with no problems.
