+1 on Garauld's brackets and the Hella lights. These are fairly simple to install and provide plenty of light for normal night riding. I keep mine aimed a littl e wide and high so that I can see deer and other critters along the shoulder.

HIDs provide a lot more light, but are more expensive, more difficult to install, and may not be legal in your state. I pass NY inspection with the Hellas with no questions.

Believe it or not, those Fuego lights from Baja Designs are HID's. They just have the balasts and the igniters inside of them. This means that you dont need to stuff all of the other junk behind the dash area.

Keep up guys! :headbonk:

Been running the FJR Goodies light brackets since late 2002/early 2003. They are there. They work. You never have to think about them. What more can you ask?

+1 on GARAULDS BRACKETS AND HELLA FF-50's .

i have just ordered a set for myself......

G and H also. Me likum. Power draw 110 watts, using 55 watt bulbs, more if using larger bulbs of course, though not recommended, as reflector designed for the 55's.

thats 110 divided by 12 so thats 9.16 amps

watts divided by volts = amps.
