There is no way I am going to drop this bike. It just isn't going to happen.
All right. That's 20 minutes of my life that I'll never get back. AND............after reading this whole freakin' thread, I still don't know if my Gen II is top heavy or not. Will someone clear this up?!??!??.
..............have to go look at pics of the old 86 connie and see if I can remember if it was top heavy or not. I'll let y'all know what I find out........
..............****, my period key seems to be phucking up............................
I use the key to start my bike and ride away. I'll come back after it stops....Yes, but in my experience, you need a key to stop them. <_<
No Untruer words were ever spoken! There is no way I am going to drop this bike. It just isn't going to happen.
How many bikes can you lean over almost to the ground, then straighten back up, from the riding position? Those you can are not "top-heavy". Go ahead, try it. I'll wait.......I still don't know if my Gen II is top heavy or not. Will someone clear this up?!??!??.
I don't give a **** how many times I drop mine. There is no way I am going to drop this bike. It just isn't going to happen.
Notch? This thing has a notch?Hey guys, 6 pages and no one has yet suggested grinding or filing the notch on the sidestand a bit so it leans more..... oh well...It's always dogpile Friday around here..... Way more fun anyway...

Yeah, you could do that. It has been discussed here on the forum before, as you know, by some other guy named Fred. And if you do that it will make the bike better for parking on a surface that slants away to the right, like on the side of a crowned road (in any of the right side driving world).Hey guys, 6 pages and no one has yet suggested grinding or filing the notch on the sidestand a bit so it leans more.....
WOW!!! Someone with a brain and not just a thread!! I agree--guys-get a life!OK now.... SIX pages on some guy who shouldn't be riding a bike and proves that dumb ***** shouldn't ride MOTORcycles.
Sorry for being blunt but after riding for 40 freaking years you get tired of seeing and reading such stupidity.

Sorry about the trouble.I probably had my mind on hitting the road instead of where I parked my bike for the fill-up, which left me with too much downward andle when I took it off the centerstand.Because the bike was put back on the centerstand while still on the same slope!
