You notice I said Drove it home. Couldn't help it had to buy it. Hopefully the real deal will be in my driveway someday in the near future. Anyways here are some photo's of the 2 FJR's from the show.

First I will start with the model that I will buy first. The AE Model.

Now some photo's of the Black FJR. I tried to get a few photo's of the Metal flake on the Tank but all you can see is mostly smudges. The black was very nice looking also but I prefered the AE Model.

Here is a photo of me sitting on the AE. I know I look huge on the bike but it felt good to me.

Unless Yamaha puts snow tires on the bikes, no one is riding anything home from the show I'm going to, Cleveland @ end of January 08. You guys who get demo rides suck!!! :D It's a yearly ritual I really look forward to even if I can't ride .

There are several of us who get accused of "making our bikes look small".....just by sitting on them. I wonder why???
Ya Mike at 6'4 and 250 lbs there are not very many bikes if any that I would look normal on. Guess we just have to make due with what the manufactures give us. Wish they had a way to make small medium and large bikes. That would be cool.

Congrats on the new bike. :bike:

That’s classy footgear in your avatar. Just a FYI, wearing footgear like that, you’d be welcome anytime; and treated like a local in my “neck of the woods” .

I want a small bike! In particular, a small FJR!

Stop complaining about being big! There's loads of bikes I'd love to ride, but with a 30" inseam, event thinking about an adventure bike is a joke!

35" and 36" high seats.... add two full saddlebags, a full topcase and tent, sleepoing bag, etc... no way could I hop on and off and not drop it every time!

Totally sucks.

There's threads and threads in lady biker forums about the few choice we have cause we're short.

and most ladies don't have anywhere near the arm strength of guys....

I'd kill for a 34" inseam!

I really, really like that color on the AE. Metallic charcoal grey/gunmetal/what have you look good on pretty much anything.

Ok, ok... :help: I got the real thing sitting in my garage, but I need one of those little models! Where did you get it?

Sigh, Me too, Mary. Me too! :dribble: Oh, your 30" inseam is 1" longer than mine. I wish I had as long legs as you do. :clapping:

You want a 34" inseam? I'd take the 30" anyday. Four more inches would work wonders, added to a 26" inseam.
