Great weekend this. Total Control Class in Frederick MD on Sat (Toophast attended also). Good class and Tracy Martin is a first class teacher and coach. Really impressive watching him (on his 05 FJR) demonstrate proper techniques. Most impressive for me was that the engine sound didn't seem to change at all as he went around the circle/circles/oval. Me, I still need throttle work and felt that at times I was surging, etc. We, at least I, were in first gear the whole time. Again, good and worthwhile class.

Then to top it off Lorie said she wanted to go for a ride Sunday. Woohoo! I get on, hook my AutoCom lead to the system - Lorie gets on and hooks up, hmm, no pop in my ear when she hooks up. Turn the key on and nothing! I ask Lorie if she can hear me and she says yes - of course since I can't hear her I tell her, "No you can't!" I immediate start troubleshooting in my mind - did I accidently turn the volume down on the box, did the relay crap the bed, fuze blow???? I may have told Lorie once again that she couldn't hear me during all this - then the blindingly obvious hit me, my ER6i's were still in my pocket! Hmmm, guess she did hear me after all. Stuck them in my ears and miracuously the intercom worked. We had a good laugh and an even better ride. Took her out Rt 211 to Luray. Great road.

Got any information/website on the class itself.

I am always looking at classes, I just find them fun.

https://www.teampromotion.com/tpm.php?page_id=home Is one that I am really interested in but will most likely wait until my shoulder is healed more and I have more seat time on the GSXR.

I have 1 friend who definitely will go with me so that should be fun...

If you go to that site (the Frederick Comm College) and go down to the class schedule you'll get more info. Course for me was $305 - included extra charge for out of state. Tracey Martin gives a $50 rebate for FJR riders (mails the check to you after the class). I think he has the offer on this site under vendor offers or on the "other" site. We had 9 riders - 4 x FJR/1-HD (guy was in the wrong class but took it anyway!), BMW K1200S and a couple of sport bikes, oh yeah, and 1 x weird *** BMW "cruiser." I signed up early, but a couple of folks signed up late as they wrote Tracey a check on Sat.
