...for pouring gas down the carb of a jeep while trying to start it. Turns out this jeep backfires on occasion, and I know have 2nd deg burns all over my right hand. So much for riding the next week or so. Just got home after 3-4 hours in Emergency. Dumbshit part is I know better than that.

Flame on...

ATGATT!!!!!

How many times do you need reminding.

Good to hear you are reasonably okay as I am sure you know it could have been much worse.

Flame extinguished...

I like that pun... Flame on!

Sounds like you've had enough flames for a while, so I won't add gas to the fire.

Glad it wasn't worse. But I admit when we were kicking tires at NAFO I thought you were a lot smarter ;)

So did I :dribble:

Damn Ray. Burns are the worst too. They just keep hurting. And I'm guessing you're right-handed.

Take care my friend.
At least it wasn't an attempt to get the busted biker back :p

I'm doin fine, the burns will heal. The pain is a reminder to stop being stupid.

Ray... Glad your OK.... Look at the positive side of this.... You could have been looking down the carb and had a friend cranking the engine when it backfired. (My eyebrows and eye lashes did eventually grow back). Doctors orders are to drink lots of beer and root for USC against Ohio State in two weeks. If you need anything call Old Michael. He has lots of time on his hands. Rich

I've always sad that burning skin and hair has a very distinct smell, especially when it's your own! Glad your ok!

Dude........... This is the jeep in your driveway??? now tell the truth.. this happened

after your trip south for tekiilya right??!! How many shots did it take to seem like this was

a good idea??

I'm glad you didn't have your face over the damn thing...........

You could add a

Twern't mine, and no booze involved, just stupidity :dribble:

Thanks for all the good words! Doc prescribed Vicodin, but I;ve chosen to follow Dr. Rich and use liquid pain killers, Marzen works very well :drinks:

The booze excuse would have been a good out for you. Thanks for sharing your pain and award. :p

Heal up quickly and more importantly, learn from this.... ;)

Glad to hear your not worse off.

Thank god you can still hold a beer in your other hand :yahoo:

Sorry to hear about your mishap, Ray. Let me know if I can help with anything (but there's one thing I won't lend you a hand for; just try it with the other for a change). Hg

ummm...me too...

See my post elsewhere in this area about my ticket.

never...EVER...launch from a light on an FJR with a SWAT cop sitting right behind you.

At least mine didn't involve bodily injury!

Heal quick friend!

Maybe it's something with the name.....

Owieee. Burns are no fun. They practice dishing out pain, ninja-style, with those wake-you-up-in-the-middle-of-the-night banzai attacks. No, thank you.

I'd offer help, but I'm not of much use on the right coast. I was going to say that there is only one thing that I won't do for you, but, having seen JB's post, there are two things I won't do for you.

Heal up and keep it clean (<==== first time I ever said this on the Forum).
