Dyeing a seat...

I just purchased a Russell's Day Long from a board member and want to know the possibilities fo dyeing from a tan color to a drak gray or black -- any suggestions as to where I might take it?

I would go the easy route and have it recovered...but the leather and insert I think is too nice to remove -- it is just the wrong color to go with my 07 AE silver.

I have used a product similar to this in the past with great results for both motorcycle and automotive use.

You could always experiment with leather shoe dye (I didn't look at the link previously mentioned in case he said that already). I used black leather shoe dye on my leather jacket; it was pretty scuffed up from having hit the pavement with it a couple times; made it look a lot better.
