kaliforny must have realized all the NAFO folks were coming home and decided to give yall a welcome home present ;)

Tustin is about 15 miles as the crow flies from Chino Hills, and we felt it pretty good. A good little jolt, then it rolled, no biggie for us. Also felt the 3.6 aftershock at 11:52am.

Everyone in Chino Hills area ok? At the epicenter it can be pretty bad.

Felt it pretty good here in Corona. I'm about 5 miles from Chino Hills. I couldnt believe how fast I got in the garage to check on my bike :D

I am in Chino Hills!

Everythings ok - my Jimi Hendricks picture fell of the mantle, but he will survive.

I think it may be time to get earthquake insurance.

Didn't feel a thing - except an incoming text on my phone. Perhaps that's because were still hanging around Colorado after NAFO. Got word from the kids that all is well at home, apart from a lamp that fell and broke.

Glad to hear it, i was standing on a step ladder watching the security guy install an alarm in the attic when it started and believe me we got out of there very quickly.

what kind of coverage can you get there?

here, if your house is damaged beyond repair. you're fuct. hopefully by then the land will be worth more than what I owe the bank. (of course, the land is most of the cost of a house anyway.....)

Rumbled the mojave pretty good too.

Funny thing for me was we were getting a safety briefing Monday night on the earthquake design of the Anechoic chamber and how it can withstand a 8.2 shake for 5 minutes. Seems like yesterday happened just to prove they guy was right.
