After Scab giving me so much crap about how great Mac's are I thought I would make the jump! I was in our Atlanta office today and decided to grab a Macbook Pro off the shelf and force myself to use it for a few weeks and see if I can survive. I have to admit that I do feel pretty hip with this thing sitting on my desk. B)

Ok, gotta run and try to figure out how to get our exchange server set-up on this thing!

I made the switch about 6 months ago and went with the Macbook Pro also and love it!

I'm going to have to give more careful consideration to who I ride with from now on.

Wanna bet! My industry has a long and dark history with Macs. A few years back, Adobe vowed to never release any future software for one platform until it was ready for all. At that point, my life began to have true meaning.

It hasn't been too long back, but Mac made the move to dump the Motorolla chips and go with Intell. They started in their laptops. The Motorolla chips had an issue with excessive heat build-up. The chips would get hot, and performance speed would go down the toilet.

Welcome, brother. I've rolled out Macs in all areas of my business, and had nothing but success. And I've got 2003/Exchange. Just takes a little tweaking here and there, and my LAN admin spends 1/10th of the time with the Mac users as he spends with the Win users. Love it.

When Mac's break, they break completely. At least with PC's you can usually retrieve your data. Personally, I'd use a Mac for a boat anchor, but that's about it.
