I be headed out in about 20 minutes. 34 degrees out berrrrrrr!!!!
Sam had a flat, is what he's talking about. Then we saw Mad Mike pulled over, and like a damn fool, he'd parked right on top of a big pool of gasoline! Of ALL the places in that big parking lot he could have parked. . . Luckily, neither "incident" turned out to be all THAT bad. At least for me.The start on Hwy 4 left me feeling a bit flat, but....
The ride was great! :yahoo:
Steve and I came back US50, but took a quick detour to shoe Bugnator the way to Cold Springs Rd, the fastest way back to Auburn. When you get your radio, you'll know all this cool stuff.I'll be looking at my pics pretty soon and will put any good ones (if there are any good ones) onto the RR thread, if there is one, or else here. Great day. I peeled off in Placerville when I saw you guys were going up 49, so didn't get a chance to say thanks and 'bye. Good seeing everybody again. So weird seeing all the frozen lakes with no snow on them. Looked like hockey rinks.
Madmike and I found not one, or two or three (we saw earlier jumping fences and running across the road), then a whole freaking herd of Forest Rats on Fiddletown Road. There were at least 7 or 8 in that herd!Good thing we had Tom or I'd be still be circling Placerville
Made it home without ant forest rat sightings. Thanks boys, it was a good ride.
The ride report is here! Those in snowy Seattle are waiting for a ride report. Heck 34 degrees - were I live that was the high today.
Hope you all had a great ride.
You can run, but you can't hide.Madmike and I found not one, or two or three (we saw earlier jumping fences and running across the road), then a whole freaking herd of Forest Rats on Fiddletown Road.
