Riding in to work in DC yesterday down the GW Parkway and it was a glorious morning. Rush hour was past so traffic was flowing, the water was on my left, Pentagon on the right, birds chirping, bunnies smiling, and I was following a cute Prius taxi. Suddenly, a head popped out and I was enveloped in a chunky mist of what looked like white clam chowder. The mother-trucker hurled. Just as the smell hit me, the head came back out and he did it again but this time I at least dodged to the other side of the lane. I didn't know the human body could hold so much.
I've been riding for more than 45 years and make a living that regularly means sorting through "people pieces." Flown most of my life so am quite familiar with paper bags in airplanes.
But holy ****, this was one of the grossest experiences I've ever had by far.
