Happy to organize a group meet, ride, and tech info/swap if anyone is interested. I took delivery of a Morgan carbtune, and just hit my 600 miles, so it would be nice to have someone whose done this (though it looks pretty easy). Plus, itching to do some installs of farkles like a fuseblock etc and would like to share tech info. I am in Snoqualmie, at the end of HWY 18.

I'd supply the BBQ and beer, and can handle about 10-12 max.

If you are interested, reply or pm. Prefer a dry weekend in October before it turns, maybe 10-2 on a Sat or Sunday. We could do a couple of local rides near Carnation/Monroe.

Anyone up for it?

I agree, a weekend other then next (Maupin ride). I might be interested.

My issues is I want to ride more then the wife wants me to go. :)

I'm headed down to Maupin also so anytime other than then I'd try to go.

I know another Dave that is saying the same thing (about the wife), me encluded.

Agree that this weekend is out, let's watch the weather report for a reasonably dry day (my garage space is limited for indoors).

Let's get a quick list of tech stuff to handle:

1. Install battery tender leads (I'll donate my FJR as a mule)

2. Fuseblocks? (Would need to order one)

3. Throttle body synch (got the carbtune here)

4. Rear wheel removal (anyone wanna demo?)

Others?

Anybody have a tire changer? We had some sucsessful tech days in SoCal at my house and Fairlaner's. They were fun and we got a lot done. Count me in, unless it is on the weekend of Oct. 11th. Cannot make it that weekend.

We could at my house in Auburn. I have a large covered area to BBQ, a motorcycle lift and a 3 car garage with a large enough area to get all the bikes inside. As well as air tools, a decent amount of electrical supplies. So weather wouldn't be an issue.

Yes I have a No-Mar that I just got with the group buy. I have a front end stand also.

I would be interested in attending as well. I have already done the battery minder/tender leads; could use as example or I am always open to improvement.

Let me know if there is anything I can bring and the date.

Sounds like a plan, I won't be there but still sounds like a plan.

We are having one in Santee, CA at Slappy's on the 19th (i hope).

If the wife is game, I'm game. Hopefully by then I will have what I need to put on my windshield, My head bobs alot without one!! lol If there are any Portland area guys riding up, I would love to join.

Maybe we can look at the idea of a trailer. My dog is an Aussie and she gets all sad when I wont take her on the fjr. lol In the car we bring her everywhere. I was looking into building a trailer to bring her along. She would love it.

I talked to AuburnFJR and he's got a lift plus lots more covered space. He's close to me in Auburn (where Highway 18 meets 167).

We are targeting Saturday October 18th. If anyone is riding in from afar and needs a place to sleep, AuburnFJR can accomodate, PM him if you think you want to stay over Sat.

Let's get a final count (so I know how much bourbon and ribs to bring) and we can send out details/directions.

I might be riding back down to the Seaside area afterwards, and if so, happy to tag along as far as I can.

Richard,

Maybe you should ride up. It would be fun. You could make put some miles on that 08 garage queen.

Barry

I can make it on the 18th. I will bring the Tofu and Wheatgrass juice. LOL.

Well, I'd like to join. I have a carbtune to bring along and have done a few things to the bike to compare notes with...My interest right now is knocking out a vibration which a decent TBS might accomplish. I have tools if needed, but it sounds like AuburnFJR is well stocked. I do have a freezer full of smoked salmon though. I imagine I will brow beat my wife into joining. Also interested in checking out any communication systems.

Just took a ride to Republic and back...good fun. Hit 121 with passenger, she had no idea we were over 100. Very smooth bike.
