Engine Break In

I thought we had a good discussion here previously on Engine Break-in but I am not finding it.

Personally, Im a fan of a slightly modified Moto Man method but I also read a report talking about Dead Run at the factory.

Does anyone know if all engines go through an initial break in at the factory?

Please use this one instead of proliferating yet another uber-NEPRT thread that was super easy to find searching on "motoman" and/or "break-in"...as well as others.
