As defending holders we are this time the underdogs. We play South Africa if you can see it at all over there it is worth a watch. I would be interested to know your thoughts.

I will post the result here after the game.

ummm can ya do a play by play for us here?????

18 Minutes in England have given 2 silly penalties away an conceded 6 points. Our hero Jonny Wilkinson scored an incredible penalty from the touch line to make the score 6-3

SA just missed a penalty. 3 points for a penalty, 3 for a try (getting the ball past the other teams posts) after you do that your kicker gets a shot at the posts gets you another 2 points if he hits it.

Fast brutal game, like your football without the stop-start and all the padding and helmets. ;)

19 mins: Percy Montgomery has been as solid as a rock under the high ball as he takes yet another steepling up-and-under. His neck will be aching at the end of the match from peering into the Parisian night in search of the ball. love that commentary LOLyea i'm watching the Tennessee-Alabama game now and hate to say the alabama is killing Tennessee

BTW, my son won his soccer game today 2-1...he is the goalkeeper
Tell him well done from England. My son played in goal for 3 years for his Sunday league team and has played as centre half for the last 2 years. He is in his last year for them at 15. A goalkeeper is either hero or villain.

England lost 15-6. We were denied a try 3 minutes into the second half which was proven on the replay to be a bad decision. It would have changed the game. The rugby world cup is played every 4 years and has never been retained, so I suppose we came as close as anyone has.

How did you like the hockey games in the UK there? Heard y'all got excited when the fights broke out.

Sorry I missed the event that you describe Odot. We have had ice hockey here from as long as I can remember, but its only a minority sport. Not much publicity if any. Probably something to do with not much ice other than a few rinks here and there. We don't get frozen lakes in the winter either.

What did I miss?

UK ICE HOCKEY

The stanley cup champs (anaheim) played the l.a. kings......twice....in london.

Cool, one I missed, told you it gets no air time here. I went to Canada a couple of years ago to stay with family. We went to a shopping mall with an ice rink in the centre. Some kids were doing hockey practice. I couldnt believe how skillful and fast they were.
