4 Years ago England won the rugby world cup. (It is played every 4 years). A guy called Jonny Wilkinson won the final for us with some incredibly acurate kicking. When he came back to play for his league team he was plagued with injuries and never really lived up to the promise that became apparant to all during his world cup games.
However.....4 years on England have beaten the hosts, France on their own ground tonight and are through to the final.
From very early on in the game we trailed 9-8. Guess who came good again with 2 incredible goals in the last 10 minutes of the game....Johnny Wilkinson!
It's about time us Brits had something to cheer about.
