My Indian name is "Pants On Fire"
Well, I finally had my film developed so I can post a couple of boring pics. Gotta' do it, though. This was my first trip of the season... and damn proud of it!

Here we are traveling along down the road & Travis (slapnpop) leads me into some trailer park. I'm like "uh, what da' hell???
Turns out it turns into a shorcut that cuts out some of the busy parts of Johnson City. Travis leads me over a bridge & PIC OP comes into my head immediately. I beep the horn so that Travis would stop. Shortly after he tells me that I probably woke up a bunch of people at the campground nearby.
I'll tell ya'... if there was people camping in that weather, I'm sure they were awake already.

Here we are at the only "real" stopping area along Shady Valley's Rte 421 "motorcycle playground". Here's Travis standing with our bikes and a new friend that we hope isn't around in September. I'm still wondering where this canine came from. It seems that there's nothing to speak of around for miles.

This is a pic of Travis & Mike (Brazos Parker) on the side of the Shady Valley Country Store.

This is a pic of Travis & Mike right before we part ways on Rte 58 in Va... after traversing the road with gravel from HELL!!!!
The trip was a good one... but a short one. The next time I go down I'll be spending more time out there. I'm really jealous of those roads in their backyard, man. Some good riding in them thar hills!
