I generally jump at any chance to ride with the FJR gang but I'm passing on the Key West gig. If you've never been, it might be worth the effort......Key West itself is a blast for sure. Otherwise, forget it. It is absolutely the most boring ride I can imagine. I'll buy the first round for those that go, however, just to get you in the mood for what will be your favorite daily pastime. I know from experience.

You hit the nail on the head on two counts. I've given thought to taking my truck if I ever make the run again. It is a boring schlep for sure.

I know from experience its a boring trip until the Keys are reached. I used to live in Key West in the early 80's and ride that road all the time. A side route to the west coast of FL can make things more interesting. I have found that any road can be exciting if you are traveling at a higher than normal rate of speed.
