We have a source for tires & changes in Johnson City. Jim's Motorcycle Sales - Local Yamaha Dealer - has tires in stock for FJRs.

The good news: We get an EOM discount of $10 off mount/balance prices.

The bad news: They close at 6:00 Thursday/Friday, 5:00 Saturday, and are closed all day Sunday.

Semi-bad news: you'll pay more for the tires than online (but less than MSRP).

Tires: Below are individual prices. If you buy a set, deduct $10 from each.

It's near impossible to get them on the phone, cause they are always busy. They are a good shop though, better than Jim's IMHO.

Ken's Cycle Center is where I buy my tires. His prices are just over internet prices and will mount and balance for $25/tire. His shop is really busy so it would be good to call ahead.

Also, every time I've gotten tires at Ken's, Ken has walked out to my bike w/ me and checked it over and reminded me to "take it easy" until the new tires are scuffed in. Good guy, good shop.

He has at least one set of each in stock. Takes 1 day to get delivery if he needs more. Told me to let him know if he needs to order more now. Told him that I will put the word out and see if we have anybody ready to let me know he needs to order more.

Mount & Balance: $26.00 per tire. On- Bike

Told me they will put them on as soon as you pull the bike to the shop. No waiting.
