Error code 52 - help

My Seattle buddies AE quit shifting in Plains, MT. It shows a 52 error code and the windshield went to the down position by itself. the bike has not had the spider warranty work done so ...

Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

Most likely a spider, but for the record, the SH__52 error:

Which suggests it's a problem with the ignition switch wiring (also suggested by the windshield retracting since it "thinks" the ignition has been turned off). The "Shift: Able" being wrong doesn't surprise me in the least, I've known these "Able" and "Not able" statements to be wrong.

Further:

There was a problem with the wiring pulling out from the ignition switch, either caused by contacts overheating, or the loom being too tight, where it goes into the underside of the switch, just visible here:
