A 9500i is in my future if they start adding more radar speed cameras around the state... If I can get a few bucks ahead I'd do it anyway just for the added features.

A friend just got a $270 speeding ticket (in his red car) in Camp Verde AZ. A new, up-to-date, detector might've helped....?

I went thru Star Valley (East of Payson) weekend before last and they now have permanent speed cameras on both ends of town ! The state legislature is trying to squash all the speed cameras now, hope they do.

I just can't rationalize justify a 9500 yet. I have two 8500s and the trade-up special is only off direct purchase. So you pay $495 less $85. That's within $15 of regular selling price from online sources that I found.
Other thing is I can't find where the 9500 is available in blue display. I'm partially colorblind and the red displays are almost impossible for me to see on the bike. Anybody know?

Blue Escort is a marvelous unit. I believe the 9500 is the version of Beltronics unit that was one of its top competitors before Escort bought them out a little while ago.

That's funny, I had the blue IP lights in my V-Dub and I couldn't for the life of me read the IP a night. I can read the read of the 8500 nicely, though.
