Disposable cig lighter works good. I don't lever it off, just get it under a tit on the cap and give a yank. much more dramatic

My wife "loves" it when I use my wedding ring to open beer bottles at parties. Since it's made of tungsten carbide, it can't get scratched or deformed by the caps.

Place the rim of the cap between your finger and the ring with your finger over the top. Lever your hand over, and it pops right off.

Don't try it with gold or any other soft metal rings.

Great helpful hints. Never seen the paper or carabineer one.

Funny thing was, the Shiner Bock they used the carabineer on, was a twist off cap.
