as of last sunday, 8-15-09, the road to detroit lake is being repaired and has some road sections that are all gravel for as much as five miles, BE CAREFUL,

lots of traffic,flying gravel and dust so thick you cant see,we made it all the way but ,fjr's are not dual sports !

they have removed entire sections of blacktop at one time and I hope they repave it soon. :clapping:

Gregory's brother told me about Detroit Lake roads. Might take the KLR up there. Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks for the info. I have noticed the pavement has been getting bad the last few years. Hopefully they get done soon, its a great road, fast sections some tight corners and long sweepers.
