Lorenzo and Pedrosa tied for the championship with Rossi in third.

You should have put SPOILER in your title. Suggest that you edit and delete the results before you get loads of flak. Not everyone has seen the race and may have recorded it.

The race was excellent with lots of surprises.

Oh please! Anyone going into a racing topic on a race weekend shouldn't be surprised to see race results. I stay out of roadracingworld.com, superbikeplanet.com, etc. It's like tuning to the local TV station at 6 o'clock and not expecting to hear the news.

Anyway, I thought the pass that Lorenzo put on Rossi was pretty insane. In the TV coverage they flashed to the pits and you could see the team was a little pissed that he put both of them at a risk. They were probably thinking of when Pedrosa took out Hayden.

I suppose Rossi's tires really went off. He's usually pretty strong at the end of a race. And what the heck has happened to Stoner? Holy crap. And with a TV camera black box falling off the bike? Is this a MotoGP-level effort still?

Thx Crash Cash, kind of my feelings also but hesitated to respond since I am an FNG. :p :p

I didn't think the Lorenzo pass was a bad one. He saw the opening and took it. Rossi has been doing the same thing to other people for years, now there is someone in the mix that can do it to him. Hell, you want to talk about bad moves, what about Simoncelli's move on Kallio at the finish line. Now that was insane. Lorenzo and Rossi are in a class by themselves. Pedrosa seems to be learning but doesn't have the dash. Maybe Honda should buy him a personality.

Yeah, the Bridgestones just can't handle the Estoril track so Rossi had to settle with third. Pretty amazing what is going on at Ducati. Can't seem to get it right for Stoner and the rest of their riders have no clue about making the Ducatis go fast. Well, in three weeks we will see if Rossi made the right decision about the Bridgestones. China has been good to them.

Thanks for the report... and yes, I've seen it, but Feejer22 has a point. Many folks record the races and may not get to see them until later in the week. Just a suggestion... put "Spoiler Whatever Race" in the title is considered good form. Thank you for your attention. Stoner is not "all that" this year, not sure what's going on there. I'm looking forward to seeing what the pnuematic valves will do for the Honda riders... when they actually roll that out, instead of postponing it. I also wonder when Kaw will roll out the screemer engine for Hopkins and West. Ahhh... racing season... what a rush.
