I stopped to gas up a few minutes ago at my local convenience store, and low and behold, ethanol free is available there now. Now this is probably mainly in New York since it's a Stewarts Shop. But maybe in other north east states as well. The down side is that it's only premium 91 octane, and a little more expensive than the crap gas you normally get. But I have found that in the past, I normally got substantially better fuel mileage with ethanol free over the 10% crap. So the better mileage should offset the slightly higher price. The question is whether you want to spend extra to run it if you only need 87 octane. So there is the dilemma. But I thought some of the NE folks may be interested anyway.

I personally like Stewarts. I can fuel up. They have a bathroom you can use. They have free air if needed. And they have fairly reasonable priced and pretty good ice cream for your break. Anyway, they said on their website that this is at select shops. But it looks like quite a few. That's good news for New Yorkers and maybe some other NE areas. Living in New York you normally don't get too much good news of late.

For some reason this website never allows me to copy and paste a link to the website page (or anything else for that matter) to my post. Obviously this time is no different and I can't figure out what is different on this site over other forums and such that I have posted on, oh well. So you'll have to look/search under Stewarts shops. Then scroll down and click on the ethanol free premium section.

When posting links or pictures make sure you hit the switch in the upper left hand corner. It will turn your screen a littel funny but it works.

Notice the densest availability of E-Free gas? Seems they know better than to waste ETOH in your motor!
