I ordered some sliders and can protectors from www.ema-usa.com via telephone on a Tuesday, and they were well packed and exactly as ordered on my doorstep Friday. Very good on the phone, confirned the order and helpful. I'd recommend them when ordering the R&G products. Competitive prices.

You are correct, and I saw it after I hit enter. HOWEVER, as discussed in another thread, the ability to edit the title is not currently an option, and so I look like a moron; but not as much a moron as the person pointing out the error.

Just so this thread doesn't get so far off topic and the admins do something horrible....

I will resurrect the other thread when my (first ever) digital camera comes in the mail and I get my bike back from the shop (another loooong story) so I can mount the protectors. I'll do a writeup then unless somebody else gets it done first. But they look good for a tipover on first glance. They basically look like a very large pipe clamp with black plastic around half....you open it up, slide it over the can, tighten and trim excess clamp metal and voila!... (I hope).

The bottom picture Groo. I considered the other but (unless I made a large error in research via email and phone and websites) they don't make the lower fitting, larger pipe/can cover (in the top photo) for my beloved FJR, only the smaller one. But the diameter is such I think I'll be able to put it anywhere, just need to figure out the widest part of the can that would touch down first in a tip over.
