Well, it has taken me over a year to put a movie together for our trip to Europe last September and in the process I needed to learn the basics of iMovie. I had taken about 1800 photos and chose about 300 for the movie.
We spent a week in Amsterdam, before getting on the Viking Freya, a brand new longship, specifically designed for the rivers of Europe for their Grand European Tour. The cruise lasted fifteen days from Amsterdam to Budapest, along the Rhine, the Main, and the Danube rivers. Castles, vineyards, food, cathedrals - it was truly a trip of a lifetime.
After the cruise ended, we took the yellow student bus to Prague for five days. I believe it was my favorite city.
All photos were taken with a several years old, point and shoot Pentax Optio W90, which I used for my motorcycles trips. I just purchased the new Panasonic Lumix G6 which is a compact Micro Thirds camera. Not as big as a DSLR, but hopefully will allow more options in taking photos.
The movie is about 30 minutes long and it took me about 3 minutes to load completely. (If you look at the scroll bar below the movie and click on the two opposing arrows at the end of the bar, it will give you a full screen.)
Comments, criticisms and suggestions are always welcome!
Hope you enjoy it as much as I did putting it together!!
