I have had my bike for some time now. I did not notice that the left side pipe (as you sit on the bike) is further away from the swingarm than the right. First thought is, OK have to make more room for the shaft drive.....but it is 2 to 3 inch difference. I think if it was moved closer in it would still have plenty of clearance. It is really not that big of a deal and I only notice it when changing tires or the odd occasion of riding with no bags. I have yet to find another like mine but, with that said most I have seen when I think about looking have aftermarket pipes on. Nothing appears to be bent and rides fine just looks funny when I notice it. No-one else has ever noticed it until I point it out. Anyone else notice this on theirs??

You didn't specify the year, but presuming it's an '06 I noticed that on the one other I've seen. I believe it's by design.

I'm sorry...mine is an '04........also while I have anyones attention(??) has anybody tried the MUZZY 4-2-1 exhaust? Does it have a O2 port? Is the heat reduced by removing the cat???

I wouldn't worry about it. Memory serves there's some offset on '04s too.

As for Muzzy I suggest starting another thread in Parts and Accessories. We prefer to keep one topic per thread in this forum. Don't know about the Muzzy myself, but would presume they do to be state legal.

Just for everyone's information, they are all that way That's right every year the same, just some of us are more aware of it. No biggy. It was posted on the FJRowners.com forum a couple of years ago.
