A little factoid as I'm trying another round of Recall/TBS/VIN Soduku.
I think in the February 2006 to March 2009 production range for the US AE production accounted for 17% of total FJRs and that California models (both AE and A) accounted for 15%. I also think it's likely that production for that three year period was 9855 units. This on the various assumptions that all of the 2006-2009 model years were affected by the ground spider recall, VIN number representation is proportional, and Yamaha reported them all. I think this particular recall will help in estimating product numbers for the period.
