I've been very pleased with the products I've purchased from Vanson in Fall River, MA. They are customer service oriented, and will work with you to assure that you get exactly what you want or need.
If you're ever in the neighborhood, its worthwhile to stop in and check out the clearance rack. If you find something in your size, you may be able to leave with a real bargain.
These folks have competition level leathers, as well as CE armour, and textile based protective clothing. Aerostitch and Vanson are probably the two best motorcycle specific clothing suppliers in the US.
Edit added August 6, 2008: I took my own advice and stopped at Vanson's showroom during my run up the east coast last week. I was really disappointed. Probably a fourth, and maybe a third, of their showroom space had been rented to some guy selling suits and sport coats. The amount of leather stuff on display was diminished compared to last year, and the closeout and clearance rack was even more hit or miss.
It might still be worth a look if you're in the area, but if you're seriously modifying a route to get there, don't do it on my recommendation.
