Where do I start…

First let me say it has been great meeting everyone. The rambles, CFO this last summer and the rides we went on, were a pleasure. Life sometimes throws us curves, which require decisions to be made. Later in February, the family and I are leaving Michigan and moving back home to Washington. Although we didn’t make it to the coast, we’ll make our new home in the Kennewick, Richland, and Pasco area. I hear there might even be some fellow FJR riders and a terrific Yamaha shop close! Time to invade the PNW section of the forum. Volcano rides anyone?

Sooo…you guys on the next ramble be careful and keep the rubber side down. And someone take a camera, good pics ARE required to keep the masses entertained!

yamaholic aka mcarp, thanks for arranging the rambles and your hospitality, the rides were most excellent.

FJRChooser, we put on a few miles last summer, eh? Thanks for the comradeship on those cross country jaunts.

wheaton, you be careful now, k ? Scout some roads for that next CFO, but those with too many initials are baaad.

trinibob, that says it all..you’re one in a million. Did you get a new front tire before winter?

And everyone else, scooter cruzer, FJRocket, jay, valetz, SickDog, ALFJR, moby one…and anyone I’ve missed, good to meet all of you!

For those making the trip to Reno this summer, see ya there. Heck, I’m just a short day away !

:bye:

Yea, there are a few FJR riders in the area including 2 Admins -- but don't hold that against the rest of us.

So George....

.....I guess that means you're gonna miss the WV Ramble  !!

Hey, I hope the move is a good one for you and the family ( and not caused by the Feds finally locating your whereabouts :D ).

It was good to meet you at the Rambles, etc...

I'll probably head out that way in a year or two, so scout out a road or two for me. will ya?

Cheers,

Mark/wheaton

The midwest's loss is the Tri-Cities gain. Yeah, there's quite a few of us floating around here.

Warchild lives in West Richland, I'm from Pasco, MCRIDER007 over in Kennewick. Several other owners from Pasco, an Ironbutt finisher from up the road near Yakima and Dan Denchell that owns the well-known Sunnyside Motorcycle and FJRGoodies 50 miles from us. And there's even a few more around too.

Which city you moving to and where have you got work lined up?

Highway 395 will be full of FJRs making the pilgramage down to Reno this summer ;)

My icon? That's the bridge between Pasco and Kennewick.

Thanks guys.

@ MCRIDER007 &/or Ignacio, can I PM you for some information on the area? This move has come up so fast, we don't have a lot of time for research. No town picked out yet, it really depends on housing availability on this short notice. I'm working in Paterson, going into the wine industry.

@ wheaton, sorry bud, too far to come back for the ramble. I'll be there in spirit though. And no...the feds haven't tracked me down yet, staying one step ahead at all times.

@trinibob, thanks Big T

And before anyone asks, I think all the wine tasting jobs are gone...

No problemo. I'm sometimes a walking chamber of commerce for our fair community and region.

Be warned, I'm a councilmember of Pasco so I might be a bit biased about locating in particular cities ;)

Rest assured that houses are available for rent.

Must be going to Columbia Crest or Chateau Ste. Michelle. Paterson is a good spot because you're even closer to a very fun motorcycle run through Bickleton.

Feel free to PM me and I can detail further.

Well Crap buddy.......... Only got to ride with you that one time, but I sure enjoyed it. Actually, it's one of my best riding memories.......

Best of luck in Washington and hopefully our paths will cross again somewhere down the road.

Good Luck with the move, I wish you, and your family the best. We had a good ride last fall. If I ever get out to your part of the country, it's beautiful out there, I'll look you up.

Please do kep in touch!!

Thanks for the thoughts Jay. Have fun on the next ramble...I know Mike will put on another excellent ride for those making the trip.

Mike, thanks for your hospitality and hosting the rambles. It was great to meet you ! Anytime you and Becky are out west, definitely stop in. If you make it to Reno, it will be my treat to show you around.

George,

It was great riding with you and Trini last summer. I too am moving west. Although not that far. I am just relocating to the west side of Michigan. Getting back to the Grand Haven area due to a career change. The sugar business will not be the same without you.

Keep checking this forum and give us an update after you settle in.

Take it easy-

I think all this means is I'll have to look you up when I'm on the other side if the US.
    -bvw.
I'll expect you to Brian. Planning to have plenty of room...so anytime you're in the area, the hotel is open.

Moby, congrats on the career change (I hope)..When I told everyone at work I was heading west, the first thing they said was "Muskegon"....cuz ya know that's the west coast back in these parts.....
