Is the registration fee $300 for one rider and one guest?
The way I read it Yep! ;) That does add up to 2 persons.

The NAFO Rally Fee is $150 per person, payable via PayPal or by Cashier's Check/Money Order.

Once your Rally Fee payment is confirmed, you will be emailed your personal NAFO Room Discount code for the Knoxville Marriott. Without this code, you will NOT received the Rally room rate of $99/night.

Your Rally Fee payments covers the following items during the 3-Day event:

  • Friday evening: " Bar-B-Q":
  • Saturday evening "NAFO Night": Sit Down Dinner
  • Premium long-sleeve NAFO Rallyshirt with special event artwork, in your choice of sizes
  • NAFO Keepsake Nametags , lanyard and Rally pin.
  • Premium, not-to-be-found-anywhere good times and camaraderie
  • Tickets for door prize drawings involving many hundreds of dollars worth of moto-goodies

When you have completely filled out and submitted the official NAFO registration form, you will be automatically routed to PayPal to make your rally fee payments. Note that your rally fee is NON-refundable!

Yikes! $300 registration for a rider & pillion and it's all non-refundable?

Guess I'll be waiting until the last minute to register, just in case... :glare:

That's always been the standard.

To put these kinds of events on requires a great deal of planning by organizers and commitment by attendees. I know NAFO organizers had to put personal money down this year (TWN did too in 2008 by the way). You would expect they pay for you personally if you decide to bail? Also, registering at the last minute also makes it a little harder for everybody to make these events work out.

Help NAFO and the FJR community out! Sign up, stay committed, and show up! You'll have a great time...guaranteed!

It's also 5 buck cheaper than it was in 2008....not bad. ;)

I can see your point.

I guess I will have to register myself and wife and just wait till the last minute to decide about my son joining or not.

Be mindful that in order to pull these events off, registrations/payments do have time limits attached to them due to the need to have hard numbers in the hands of the various vendors, caterers, shirt-makers, etc, etc.

These events take an enormous toll on the organizers, and it is an *incredible* amount of work to pull off correctly. As Iggy mentioned, the 2010 attendance fee is in line with original NAFO fee... it's even $5 less!

It's still cheaper than my last 3 times at the casino! And I bet the memories will be better.

You guys keep adding up all the costs and you'll never ride again. Motorcycling costs money, there's no way around that. The rally masters are looking at the rally fee to see if they can help with that part of the cost. Even if that doesn't change, it's better than parking the bike in the garage at home and doing chores.
