And I have the keys.... :yahoo:
My buddy Mike dropped his bike (and his girlfriend's car) off at our house today for safe keeping ( ) while they vacation in South America for a month. Since they live in San Francisco and park on the street, they needed a place to store their vehicles. (The Honda is beat up, not because he crashes it, but because he parks it on the street and it gets bumped and knocked over. This one was replaced after his previous one, and the one before that, was stolen.
Mike is an interesting species of motorcyclist. He does not own a car, and as a consultant commutes around the Bay Area to client sites by motorcycle 365 days a year. But he is not the kind of motorcycle fanatic that I am accustomed to seeing in myself and on this forum. For him it's just transportation. He doesn't go riding on weekends seeking out the twisties; although I've known him for years, we've never gone on a ride togethere. And he has a limited appetite for talking about motorcycles. But he's quite the urban warrior (doesn't even wear heated gear in the winter). I also know he took the Keith Code track school once upon a time.
Would somebody please organize a ride so I can show up on my *new* bike?! :dribble:
