Does anyone have a source for Fender Eliminators, and side-crash sliders for a 2004 non-ABS?

No fender eliminators for the FJR. There was a group buy about a year ago on them from some european source, so if you look really hard/wait long enough you could score one from one of those purchasers who no longer wants it, but no other known place to buy them.

As for sliders, there are several options. The two most popular are R&G and GSG-Moto (used to be Moko).

R&G perhaps are slightly better placed but you have to cut a hole in the fairing. GSG-Moto have a nifty piece that bolts to the engine, and the sliders bot to that piece. No chance of buggering the engine block threads when taking the sliders on and off repeatedly.

Both are good sliders and get rave reviews from their owners.

You can get the GSG-Motos from Wildhair Accessories HERE.

You can get also get both makes of sliders from bikejohnny.com HERE.

Welcome to the forum!

Call me anal, but isn't this kind of post best placed in the PARTS area?

You got caught up in the moment, dintcha?! :D

I wish someone would produce a domestic "fender eliminator". Just to cover over that rear tire, not to eliminate the fender. Well, maybe trim it back a little.

And I still think the Moko/Moto frame sliders are the best.
