Yep. I'll have to think on it. There was a group buy 2 years ago, the supplier was in Europe and they are ABS plastic.

Duh!! Surely someone will remember the brand and who they are available from.

Wild Hair carries "huggers" linked here, but he doesn't list the FJR. You might give them a call.

That would be the one manufactured by FreeStreetDesigns... seen here...

FreeStreetDesigns Hugger

Word of warning though... I don't think many of the people who did the group buy were pleased with the quality of the product... (I didn't participate, but generally recall a lot of posts about the product being less than expected).

I do believe highlander has one on his bike.....

Paging Dave, Earth to Dave come in Dave.

The Aussie one converts to $408 US (Ouch) plus shipping.

**** the one in the picture is from France, no wonder i don't fit.

Groo has it correct, it's the FSD hugger. I ran the group buy and there were a lot of unhappy campers as the quality / fit / packaging was not perfect. If you don't mind getting a semi finished product and "making it fit " then get one , but I'd advise against it. It's a lot of work to get it to look good.

As to Knifemakers question, it keeps all the road crap off of the shock, when you pay $800 / 1K for a shock you'll do your best to keep it protected. :D
