Just bought a pair. Haven't tried them out yet, because the weather in KC has sucked for several months.
I bought a set, as a cheaper alternative to Motoport kevlar.
So far, they are very comfortable and versatile (liners make them very warm). Without the liners, they flow a lot of air. Perfect for warm to hot weather.
My only complaint would be the snaps/button on the pants are a little flimsy.

I think they are a great value for that price. I've used mine for well over a year with one waist adjuster falling off and just recently a pocket zipper failing. I love the hard shell knee pads and close fit. I don't remember mine coming with a liner?
