It's been 2 years since I've been able to hug him. Oh how sweet it is. He's been stationed in England for a couple years deploying to several areas with the Air Force. Thank God he's been relatively safe in his job assignments. Now I've got him back for a month and get to teach him how to ride and get his MC license.

God Bless our brave Soldiers

Most excellent! Congratulations and Welcome Home Airman. :clapping: And thank you.

You two have some good times together.

Yes, give him a Damm big hug! Every one of them, all those young men (and women) needs a hug, thanks to all of them.

It's great to have them home. My oldest son has been gone for a year and a half. (US Coast Guard in Kodiak Alaska) He got to come home for 30 days and we are enjoying every minute. Doing a little riding when the weather permits and just hanging out together.

Congrats, tell your Airman son that he is appreciated by this AF First Sergeant for all that he does. And realize that the Air Force will only let him ride a 600cc bike for his first year so it will be a while until he can graduate to the Feej.

He's planning on starting out with a Suzuki SV 650 once he gets his license. Do you know if they will allow this? I found a FZ600 Fazer on London's Craigslist but he said he wants a naked bike. He'll find rain soon enough and be looking for s fully clothed bike.

I'm actually on the computer because I just wrote Happy New Years to my brother (pseudo-son) in south Baghdad. Glad yours can be home.
