I bought a First Gear Trekker jacket.. can anyone who has one tell me if they are machine washable.. IM just trying to soften it up a bit.

If you have a front loader and it has a 'Hand Wash' setting and a 'Low Spin Cycle', then yes. Set all water settings to cold and use a mild detergent, no softeners. Hang to dry on a suit-type padded hanger or equiv. Don't forget to pull the pads and liner out.

TWN, You should have a TV show on Lifetime with all of your helpful advice! :blum:

thanks.

I'll give that a try.. I do have the front loaders and cold.. was hoping to put fabric softener but i guess that is a nono.

If this doesnt do it for me I think I'll sew a couple of velcro patches that i can use to velcro the coler away from my neck.
