as a 'be prepared' motorcyclist, I was stranded for the first time.
Rear felt squishy -- stopped to check it... no worries -- patch kit, Co2 inflater, etc... done this many times... not problem right?
but -- there was a gash i was not going to be able to repair.... crap.
called a friend ( and to define a 'friend' -- those are the ones that come when you're stranded), he trailered me to the nearest dealer -- who had zero decent tires (no Michelins, no Avons, no Bridgestones, not even a Mezzler -- they did have some Shinko's -- but.....)
SO crap tire installed..... but at least im happy to have a tire that can hold air!.. there was a rusty piece of metal about 4" X 1" they found inside as they re-tired me.
Lesson for me? no matter how much crap I pack -- i can still get stranded. need to sign up for that RV / motorcycle AAA thing.... i'll have to search for it now..
