FJ Picture ****

The riding season is quickly coming to a close here in the northland. I had a chance to get out and ride with my son, he on the new FJ-09 that has graced our garage. I had my camera with as we were out and about and I got in a few pictures before we left and when we stopped along the way. Pictures, that's what the internet is for, right? And I prefer motorcycles over cats. So enjoy.

Are the bags on the FJ the same as the FJR? They look the same except for the color obviously, are they interchangeable?

The FJ / FZ triple with the 20lb mufflers is very very docile.... sewing machine esque.....

I've been working on my 15 FZ-09 in prep for track days, yesterday I got in my Akropovich Titanium exhaust to improve on the sound, drop some weight add some HP, it has a much deeper note compared to stock, pretty nice now....

Although when I test rode the FZ, it was a used machine with an M4 slip on and that was a really nice sound - dare it say I might even say it was better then the Akro I just got for much cheaper....

I really like the 09's. but the dealer here says they aren't moving out the door like they thought they would. Wonder why? my problem is too many bikes and no extra $$$

The FJR bags are interchangeable with the FJ-09 'city' bags. I have FJR bags on my FJ-09. Got some used FJR bags here and sent the covers to Garauld for repainting.
