What shoe worrin' about der? You have several millimeters of room to carve yet.

But those jeans have got to go, boy. You go down with them you'll be replacing some skin... Even the ones that are reinforced with kevlar, etc. aren't gonna do-it when it counts.

No, good textile gear with padding is as good as leathers for protection at street speeds.

Leather is better at high speeds as you can "surf" the asphalt better with leather. Cloth tends to snag the rough street surface and tumble the rider. But again, at normal street speeds, should be OK.

Sorry if our fun might have offended you. Maybe you needed a picture for your collection. I see ARFJR has accommodated you. We have lots of fun together and are always critiquing our riding styles.

Nevertheless, ARFJR got to ride the "Dragon". Something I haven't done.....YET!!!
