If they tell you it voids the warranty to do your own work then I believe there is a consumer protection law that says they have to provide it free of charge.
You've clearly never lived in Florida.
Right you are and I wouldn't consider it in this lifetime But it is a Federal law and it applys nation wide :p

OK Fine. Have it your way.
No offense, FJRay. Just kidding around, but Florida is a different planet. You ever watch Unsolved Mysteries? Sometimes you can find it in re-runs on cable. Maybe 70% of the stories take place in Florida. I spent the longest 30 years of my life in Tallahassed between 1986 and 1996.

I live in Florida and it is no different from any other states in they will not allow a dealer to cancel warranty because you serviced the bike or car. However if they can show you improperly serviced the bike which caused a failure then the warranty would be void. Florida Bill

If the dealer refuses to honor the warranty, you can sue him.

Get out before it's too late.

Euro Cycles of Tampa. And I too lived in Florida(Orlando) for awhile. Dodging traffic is such a relaxing activity!

I love my FJR. Fast, reliable, easy to maintain, least $ in its class, best looking sport tourer.

I used to have a Honda VFR 800, the new VFR 1200 catches my eye and I pay attention to it. Has anyone else notice Honda prices lately? $18k for the ST 1300 and $16K for the VFR1200 w/o bags, heated grips, etc. They have BMW prices!
I just purchased a brand new (out of the crate) 2010 VFR1200F for $10,999 plus tax and title of course. I live in Memphis, TN. and bought the bike at a local Yamaha Honda dealership. If you can still find a new 2010 model you should be able to get a hefty discount. The new, blue 2012 VFR with standard traction-control will be available in dealerships by late January early February and I'm sure will retail for $15,999. There was no 2011 VFR released.
