Heard on another forum that a blue FJR was in a pretty nasty crash on GA400 at the outlet mall just south of 53.

5 year old pillion air lifted to the hospital :( .

Cager, of course, didn't see him. Reportedly making some kind of U-turn to keep from making an illegal left turn. Very nasty little stretch of highway - lots of turning traffic.

So just wonder if its anybody here and how everybody is doing and can I do anything to help.

The rider down was on 06 fjr. was riding with 5yr old grandson who was thrown about 100 feet and landed in the grass median of ga hwy 400 at the outlet mall near dawsonville ga. I was riding the KLR that day and passed the wreck scene. Shortly after that I saw quite a few of my FJR riding buddies waiting at our meeting spot at wendys at hwy 53 and 400. I quickly put two and two together and made a turn around to ask my FJR buds if they were waiting on someone on an 06. The answer was yes and he is late. I asked them if they knew what paint scheme was on his helmet. With the helmet identification made I informed the group that the guy would not be making this ride. thankfully the driver recieved non life threatening broken arm and possibly other hand and wrist bones plus severe pelvic bruising. The tough little guy on the rear was air lifted from the scene and is recovering at a Atlanta area childrens medical facility. The old lady who creamed him tried the old fashioned "lets lie about the facts of the crash" . Good for the victims was an eye witness who stuck around to straighten the old bat out on her actions that caused the crash. The local fuzz also was a little harsh on her for trying to pin the blame on the FJR. The rider is on the forum as well as the other FJr riders in his awaiting group. I believe the guy is on the hunt for another 06 FJR as we speak. The little guy will not be on the back of the next one so i here. Mark D AKA carrera930 on the forum took camera phone pics and has done a great job of communicating to the concerned local FJR riders group of the improving conditions of both driver and passenger. Bottom line is that all will heal and live to ride again.

That is terrible!

Glag the little tike is going good! I bet he wont ride another bike again :(

Good thing there was witnesses who got the story straight, Since the whole my word vs. theirs is about a 50 50 chance of the law getting it right.

God speed on a fast recovery and getting a new feejer!
