When I was up at Bandon Dunes last year, I met a guy who had an FJR1300 and he said that he had figured out a way to put golf clubs on his bike. Very cool idea and now that I have the bike (and have long had the clubs), I'm trying to think of a way to just attach 3 or 4 clubs to the bike for driving range days. All I need is a wedge, 5 iron, putter and driver to cover the bases.
Has anyone seen anything on doing this? I'm sure it's doable.
Separately and unrelatedly, I managed to get my Blue Seas distribution/fuse box attached to the FJR. I ended up drilling a hole into the airbox and bolting it to that. Worked realy well and I'll have to take a pic and post it sometime. I'm kinda pleased with myself, though I'm sure this is old hat to you old hands out there. Also got my two Heat Trollers mounted into the panel with the hazard switch. One for the grip heaters (installing those this weekend, I hope) and the other for my jacket liner. Woo hoo! B) "That's right, we bad, uh huh."
Thanks to one and all for the help!!!
