Anyone from NJ with an FJR - if so, who are you using for insurance.

Just got a quote from Rider for - are you ready? $2095 per year, comprehensive w/ 750 deductible. When questioned why so high, the drone said, "Oh, its a Sportbike". :dribble:

I'm in NJ, paying around $700-something.

I don't have their info in front of me, but I'll try to post it later.

Hey bennyb, price will depend on several factors, your age, driving history--wrecks, tickets, etc. It will vary by company, region, amount of coverage, etc. I am 46 w/no wrecks, no tickets (knock on wood) got max liability limits, comp and collision and UM and 2k farkle coverage. My collision has a 1k deductable and my annual premium is only 450.00 on my 04 feejer w/ABS. I am w/GEICO give'em a try!

Thanks guys. I finally found that FOREMOST Insurance, luckily carried by the same agency that does our homeowners, is pretty reasonable. About $670 for Comprehensive Coverage, including 3k for Accessories, $500 deductible. I can live with that.

I'm in Jersey and I too have Foremost. Their rates are quite resonable. Rider has the bike classified as a 1300cc. Foremost has it calssified correctly at 1298.
